During each basketball season, Ontario Basketball sanctions approximately 400 tournaments hosted by affiliated member clubs. The purpose of tournaments being sanctioned by Ontario Basketball is to ensure that the tournament hosts agree to and abide by all of Ontario Basketball’s rules and policies so that all participating teams experience a standard that meets Ontario Basketball guidelines.
To have your tournament sanctioned, please:
- Complete the Sanctioned Tournament Form on RAMP. Navigate into your club admin end and go to “Season Tab” then to Tournaments fill out the tournament info then fill out the permit .
- All teams involved to be OBA affiliated.
- Confirm tournament approval with the local officiating board.
- Pay the Sanctioned Tournament Host Fee on RAMP

- Once your Forms submission is approved, your tournament will be listed publicly here.
Tournaments must be properly sanctioned in order for Ontario Basketball insurance to be valid.
Note: No exhibition games will be sanctioned
