Paid & Volunteer Opportunities – OBA Fair Play Committee
Ontario Basketball is currently seeking representatives to join its Fair Play Committee for the 2023-24 season. This Committee will be responsible for the application of OBA’s Fair Play Policies & Procedures and Schedules A & B.

Fair Play Committee Deputy Chair
Position Type: Part-time Hourly (project based)
The Fair Play Committee Deputy Chair is responsible for co-leading the OBA Fair Play Committee in receiving, managing, and responding to fair play and safe sport related complaints received from the Ontario Basketball community that are directly tied to OBA sanctioned events (e.g., Ontario Basketball League, OBA Sanctioned Tournaments, Ontario Cup & Provincial Championships) This includes conducting complex investigations, conducting hearings (when necessary), and issuing sanctions / disciplinary action and possible fines as laid out in the OBA Fair Play Policy Schedule A & B.

Fair Play Committee Member
Position Type: Volunteer (Unpaid)
As a member of the Fair Play Committee, this unpaid volunteer role is responsible for working with the Fair Play Committee Chair, Deputy Chair, and other committee members to receive, manage and respond to Fair Play and Safe Sport related complaints received from the Ontario Basketball community that are directly tied to OBA sanctioned events. This includes being a part of complex investigations, conducting hearings (when necessary), and issuing sanctions / disciplinary action and possible fines as laid out in the OBA Fair Play Policy Schedule A & B.
