OBA Discipline and Conduct Decisions – Promoting Safe and Respectful Sport

Decisions listed here result from investigations into conduct that did not meet the standards expected in OBA-sanctioned programs and activities.

The Ontario Basketball Association (OBA) is committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants. As part of this commitment, we provide a public summary of disciplinary decisions issued under our Safe Sport and Conduct Policies, where a breach was substantiated through a fair and transparent process.

Each listed outcome reflects the result of a formal investigation and decision-making process during which respondents were given the opportunity to respond and, where applicable, to appeal.

Only finalized decisions that meet the publication criteria outlined in OBA policy are included. If a matter is under appeal, that status is noted in the listing. Allegations that are unsubstantiated or resolved informally are not published.

In accordance with OBA policy, names are removed from this list after a specified period of time, based on the nature and severity of the sanction. Sanctions that result in permanent ineligibility or ban may remain listed indefinitely.

This page reflects OBA’s ongoing efforts to uphold integrity, promote accountability, and ensure the safety and well-being of everyone involved in our sport.
