Abby SmallwoodBob ClarkeToronto Lords U11"The Toronto Lord’s Bob Clarke, is a passionate coach with a wealth of experience. He sets high expectations for his players and motivates them to reach their goals. Coach Bob makes personal connections with his players. I am thankful that he took my son on his team even though my son had very little experience. Coach Bob believed in him, which not only helped to develop his skills, but also instilled a greater confidence in my son."
Madison RilettGeorge ThomasIEM Oak Ridges U15 Girls"He goes above and beyond what he signed up for. Coaches three teams, and helps out with five. Makes sure that everyone gets a chance to grow as a basketball player and as children. He teaches us valuable lessons that help us both on and off the court."
Colin JardineRandy DouglasMajor Midget Girls Brockville Blazers 2"Our coach dedicates his time to this team without having a child on the team. He's also vice president of our association and has been involved with coaching for the past 5 years as an assistant or head coach. He has take a group of girls who were looking to play basketball and went to a gold medal game at Ontario Cup last season. He looks to build on that success and get his current team to the final step"
Michelle BallTim SheppardHamilton Celtics U15"Best coach ever! Coach Tim puts the boys needs before his own. Works 12 hour days and has never been late or missed a practise! He encourages the boys to be not only the best basketball players they can, but to be the best students, sons, friends, and teammates they can be! It's more then basketball... he's a fantastic role model and a wonderful person. No matter what, he loves our boys unconditionally!"

Thank you to everyone who recognized your coach throughout National Coaches Week and thank you to the hard working coaches across the OBA for setting an example for those to come.
