Free girls’ sport leadership program in Toronto

GAME ON, a free six-week girls’ sport leadership program at MLSE LaunchPad in Toronto, is designed to help female high school athletes stay in the game.

The program begins on Monday, March 18, so register now to reserve a spot!

GAME ON is based on the top three reasons why girls stay involved in sport, as outlined in the CAAWS Keeping Girls in Sport e-module: positive team dynamics, trying hard, and positive coaching.

GAME ON will focus on relationships and role models, including supporting teammates, setting and achieving goals, being strong and confident, and having a coach who is a positive role model. Through building relationships and working with role models, girls will be given the tools they need to become leaders in sport, encourage others to participate, build a community of female athletes and, ultimately, stay in the game.

Participants will learn through workshops, trainings, and on-court activities, and they will earn a Sport Leadership Program certificate at the end of the program. Other perks include swag, tokens, and food!
