AMM Call for Nominations & Motions
To all voting members – this is your notice of the Call for Nominations for directors to serve on the Board of Directors for Ontario Basketball (OBA) and the Call for Motions for the Annual Meeting of Members (AMM).
Please be aware that due to ongoing evaluation of government and health guidelines, the AMM will be hosted virtually.
Please note, as per By-Law 1 of OBA:
- Four (4) directors’ positions are open for election on Saturday, November 7, 2020; and
- The Regent (John Lovett) shall be the Chairperson of the Nominating Committee.
Board of Directors Nomination
Any individual interested in seeking election to the Board of Directors must be eligible as per By-Law 1 of OBA, and must complete the attached Nomination and Profile Form.
Motions
The Motion Form has been attached. Please submit all motions in writing to the Executive Director by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2020.
