Ontario Basketball is also represented on the team’s coaching staff with Men’s Technical Lead Jason Dawkins named as an assistant coach.

Team Canada will compete at the FIBA U17 Men’s Basketball World Cup in Argentina from June 30 to July 8, 2018.

The team will train in Toronto from June 11–16. They will then travel to Mexico City for pre-competition training before arriving in Argentina to begin tournament play.

Training camp invitees Charles Bediako and Addison Patterson have already gotten a taste of the national team this summer; they are both currently playing in the FIBA U18 Men’s Americas Championship in St. Catharines.

Canada is currently ranked second in the FIBA Men’s Youth Rankings.
