Ontario Athletes Dominate Team Canada Roster

Ontario athletes dominate Team Canada’s roster for the upcoming FIBA U18 Men’s Americas Championship, taking place in St. Catharines from June 10-16, 2018. On the 12-player roster, 11 athletes are from Ontario.

Amongst the 11 Ontarians are four Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association (OSBA) athletes: Jaden and Charles Bediako (Ridley College), Addison Patterson (Athlete Institute) and Jevonnie Scott (Athlete Institute).

Meanwhile, Quebec’s Tyrese Samuel, Canada’s lone non-Ontario athlete on the roster, recently announced his commitment to Orangeville Prep for this upcoming OSBA season.
