Volunteer Opportunity: 2018 FIBA U18 Men’s Americas Championship

Volunteer for the 2018 FIBA U18 Men’s Americas Championship and be part of the behind-the-scenes action at this international basketball event!

Taking place at the Meridian Centre in St. Catharines from June 10–16, eight teams from the FIBA Americas Zone, including Canada and the United States, will battle for gold and a spot in the 2019 FIBA U19 Men’s Basketball World Cup.

The organizing committee needs more than 200 volunteers to help stage a successful event. Volunteers are needed in several departments including operations, sport technical, hospitality, sport presentation and in the media centre.

About the 2018 FIBA U18 Men’s Americas Championship
The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and Canada Basketball, in partnership with the 2021 Canada Games Host Society and the City of St. Catharines, will welcome eight teams from the FIBA Americas Zone as Canada, the United States, Argentina, Chile, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Panama, and Puerto Rico compete for gold and a spot in the FIBA U19 Men’s Basketball World Cup 2019.
