Tryouts for Ontario Summer Development Program Underway Across Ontario
Tryouts for Ontario Summer Development Program (OSDP) are underway across the province!
OSDP is Ontario Basketball’s off-season development program that helps U12 and U14 athletes grow their personal, social, and athletic skills through programming that emphasizes teamwork, leadership, and learning.
Athletes selected to participate in OSDP train for 30 hours in regional “pods” led by certified coaches following age-specific curriculum developed by Ontario Basketball and Canada Basketball. Top athletes from each pod are selected to attend a culminating event; in 2018, U12 athletes will attend an overnight camp in Barrie and U14 athletes will compete in the Ontario Summer Games in London.
