Tryouts for 2018 Boys’ Team Ontario Begin in February
The first two tryouts for the boys’ provincial teams are scheduled for the Ottawa Region and Southwestern Ontario. Open tryouts in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) will be scheduled in the coming weeks. Athletes can pre-register for the GTA (Central Region) tryouts to receive an e-mail when the dates are finalized.
Top athletes from each tryout will be invited to selection camps to determine the final roster. The U15 and U17 Boys teams will head to Kamloops, BC in August for the 2018 Canada Basketball National Championships. The U14 Boys team will compete in various tournaments this summer.

Registration
All athletes must pre-register to reserve their spot.
Attendance
Athletes can attend a tryout at any location. Athletes only need to attend one tryout. Athletes may choose to attend more than one tryout.
Cost
Each athlete must provide a $25 fee (cash only) at the beginning of each tryout.

About Team Ontario
Team Ontario consists of the top male and female basketball players in the province in the U15 and U17 age categories, and the teams are a continual medal favourite at the annual Canada Basketball National Championships. Team Ontario’s coaching staff also represents some of the top coaches in Ontario. Between the four teams, Team Ontario has won gold at nearly 75% of the national championships since 2002.
