Tickets on sale for men’s Team Canada qualifiers for World Cup

Fans now have their chance to come out and support Team Canada on their pursuit of a birth in the FIBA Basketball World Cup as tickets are now on sale for their two qualifying games right here in Ontario, being played in Toronto and Ottawa later this summer.

The team will continue its efforts towards qualification on Friday, June 29 from the Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto against the Dominican Republic, and then head to Ottawa for a game on Monday, July 2 against the US Virgin Islands from The Arena at TD Place.

Canada is currently 3-1 after their first two windows of games, after convincing wins over the US Virgin Islands and twice over the Bahamas. Canada will be looking for revenge over the Dominican Republic after suffering their only loss of qualification to them back in the opening window of games.

Team Canada will have NBA players available to them for these games, as they were not available for the first two windows of games played previously.
