Ontario Basketball is currently accepting applications for two paid summer contract opportunities with our organization. Click each link below for job descriptions:
These are paid summer contract opportunities lasting approx. four months (May-August 2023), expected start date being as soon as possible. Please note that Ontario Basketball is a hybrid work environment with two days working in-office in Whitby, ON and three days remote work.
Contract Length: May – August 2023 – Approx. 16 weeks.
Hourly rate: $17.00/hour, 35 hours per week, less statutory deductions.
Conditions of Canada Summer Jobs:
These positions are funded partially through Employment & Social Development Canada (ESDC)’s Canada Summer Jobs program. The 2023 CSJ program guidelines stipulate that jobholders must:
- Be 15 to 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period.
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) and be legally entitled to work in Canada.
