Playing 3×3 at the CNE During Opening Weekend of the Ex

Ontario Basketball (OBA) brought hoops to the Ex during opening weekend of the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) in Toronto.

The inaugural CNEOBA 3×3 Basketball Tournament from August 18–19 was a slam dunk with nearly 100 U10 and U13 athletes putting their 3-on-3 game to the test, all while getting a chance to play in front of family and friends on the courts of the Toronto Raptors Practice Facility.

Players brought fire, energy, and a love for basketball as they went up against the competition in their pools. Every single team showed grit and talent while keeping in mind the most important quality of all: sportsmanship.

Although everyone played well, only three teams got to bring home the trophy.

On Day 1, the U13 Boys champions were team Drip Drop and second place winners were the Viper Boys.

On Day 2, Cardi Ballers were the champions of the U13 Girls and the Merci Buckets Blue earned silver.

Ontario Basketball thanks all the athletes, coaches, volunteers, spectators, and others behind the scenes who made the 2018 CNEOBA 3×3 Basketball Tournament a success.

OBA will see you next summer to play 3×3 at the CNE!

In the meantime, learn about more opportunities to play 3×3.
