Ontario Basketball Strategic Plan 2021-26
Ontario Basketball is proud to unveil our NextGen Strategic Plan 2021-26.
The following plan includes priorities and goals that build on the recent successes of our basketball community and apply them in new, uncertain times.
“We look forward to getting back on the courts and getting some of that momentum back we had generated with expanding programs and all-time highs in registration,” said Jason Jansson, Executive Director. “We’re proud of our position in the basketball community and we know there’s still so much untapped potential for bringing our great sport to everyone in Ontario.”
Four pillars of the Strategic Plan are;
- Bringing Basketball To Everyone
- Building an Accountable, Sustainable Basketball System
- Removing Barriers in Basketball
- Unlocking Everyone’s Basketball Potential
Results of the strategic plan are driven by surveying OBA partners and members and collated by Capitis Consulting Inc. Further development will also be data-driven over the course of the next five years and membership should expect additional surveys to establish stronger data on participation at all levels of basketball in our communities to help drive impact.
