Ontario Basketball Rehires Championship-Winning Coaches for Team Ontario

Toronto, ON, Thursday, September 26 – Ontario Basketball (OBA) proudly announces the return of the coaches who led Team Ontario to gold at the 2024 Canada Basketball National Championships. Their reappointment strengthens Ontario’s leadership in Canadian basketball and ensures continued development for young athletes.

Returning championship-winning coaches are:

  • Sarah Besselink, U15 Girls
  • Yoosrie Salhia, U15 Boys
  • Christine Hyde, U17 Girls
  • Tyrone Bramble, U17 Boys

In 2025, the U17 teams will represent Ontario at the Canada Summer Games in St. John’s, Newfoundland, while the U15 teams will compete at the Canada Basketball National Championships.
