Ontario Basketball and Elite Camps Extend Partnership to Provide More Opportunities for Young Athletes in 2025

Ontario Basketball (OBA) is proud to announce the continuation of its partnership with Elite Camps, reinforcing both organizations’ commitment to growing the game and providing accessible basketball opportunities to young athletes across Ontario.

As part of this year’s partnership, Elite Camps is providing $7,500 in sponsorship support and 10 free camperships for OBA members, ensuring that even more young players can experience high-level training in an immersive overnight camp setting.

Elite Camps’ Hoop Dreams Overnight Basketball Camp is a premier summer experience designed for athletes to refine their skills, build confidence, and have fun in a beautiful outdoor setting. The camp takes place at the Elite Camps Outdoor Leadership Centre in South Bruce Peninsula, just three hours from Toronto.

Athletes train on world-class courts overlooking the lake, have access to traditional land and water activities and stay in comfortable air-conditioned cabins.

Programs Available:
Youth Camps (Ages 10-13)
Teen Camps (Ages 13-17)
Girls-Only Camps (Ages 9-13)
CIT (Coach In Training) – Age 16 by Dec. 31

“We are thrilled to continue our collaboration with Elite Camps,” said Claude Nembhard, CEO at Ontario Basketball. “By expanding access to high-quality training and mentorship, we’re ensuring that more athletes can develop their skills in a competitive and supportive environment.”
