OBA Countdown to Madness! – Week 2

Over the next three weeks, we’ll feature some of Ontario’s Very Own making an impact in the NCAA leading up to Selection Sunday. Stay tuned, as each week as we will highlight more Ontario hoopers hoping to clinch a spot in this years’ edition of March Madness.

 

Emanual Miller, TCU Horned Frogs

Emanual Miller, Senior Forward for the TCU Horned Frogs, has had an excellent NCAA DI career thus far. After his first two years at Texas A&M, Miller aims to close off his 4th eligibility year with a bang at TCU. Currently averaging 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists, the Scarborough native aims to showcase his talents in this year’s March Madness tournament with the Horned Frogs. The TCU Horned Frogs currently sit in 6th in the Big 12 division.

 

Aaliyah Edwards, UConn Huskies

Aaliyah Edwards, Junior Forward for the UConn Huskies, has been putting in the work this season. The Kingston native is averaging 16 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists over 33 minutes per game for the Huskies. The 2x Ontario Scholastic Basketball Scholastic (OSBA) Champion and Finals MVP has come a long way fromCrestwood Prep and especially the Kingston Impact. Edwards and UConn currently sit in 1st place of the Big East division, hoping to make an significant impact in next month’s tournament.
