Now accepting applications for Gyms For Kids funding!
Ontario Basketball’s Gyms for Kids (GFK) program is helping to offset the costs of bookings for practice facilities made prior to the most recent province-wide lockdown.
Did you and your 2020-21 registered club team book a facility to use for practice anytime from Feb 10 to April 1, 2021? If you did, then you may be eligible for the Gyms for Kids Funding! Teams who were in green, yellow and orange zones and booked a facility during that time are encouraged to apply.
OBA affiliated club teams who have registered for the 2020-21 season are eligible for GFK reimbursement up to 50% of facility cost, at a maximum of $100 per hour. Applications for the GFK Subsidization Program are to be completed on a per team basis. The GFK Subsidization Program is not intended to subsidize gym time for an entire club.
The deadline to submit is May 14th, 2021.
