G-Elite 2026–27 Season Applications Are Now Open!

Ontario Basketball is excited to announce that applications for the 2026–27 G-Elite season are now open.

G-Elite provides a premier competitive environment for girls’ club basketball programs across Ontario, with Junior and Senior divisions competing through a structured league format focused on development, competition, and high-level play.

Teams interested in participating must submit their application by 11:59 PM on August 4, 2026.

Key Dates

  • August 4, 2026 – Application Submission Deadline
  • August 8, 2026 – G-Elite Team Selection
  • August 21, 2026 – Registration Deposit Submission
  • September 25, 2026 – G-Elite Registration Deadline
  • October 2, 2026 – Roster Submission Deadline

Competition Format

The 2026–27 G-Elite season will include:

  • Minimum 20 games per team
  • Six weekend regular season sessions
  • 18 regular season games
  • 2 guaranteed playoff games
  • Junior and Senior divisions
  • Maximum of 16 teams per age group in each division

Age Categories

G-Elite Junior: U15 & U16
Athletes born in 2011 or later

G-Elite Senior: U17 & U19
Athletes born in 2008 or later

Competition Dates

Junior Division

  • Session 1: December 5–6, 2026
  • Session 2: January 9–10, 2027
  • Session 3: January 23–24, 2027
  • Session 4: February 6–7, 2027
  • Session 5: March 6–7, 2027
  • Session 6: March 20–21, 2027
  • Playoffs: April 24–25, 2027

Senior Division

  • Session 1: December 12–13, 2026
  • Session 2: January 16–17, 2027
  • Session 3: January 30–31, 2027
  • Session 4: February 20–21, 2027
  • Session 5: March 13–14, 2027
  • Session 6: April 3–4, 2027
  • Playoffs: May 1–2, 2027

Dates are subject to change.

Registration Fees

  • G-Elite Registration Deposit: $1,000
  • G-Elite Registration: $7,750, less the $1,000 deposit

Please note that registration deposits are non-refundable.
