7 Ontario athletes & 2 Ontario coaches set to represent Canada at FIBA U16 Americas Women’s Championship
Canada Basketball has announced the Team Canada U16 Women’s roster for the FIBA U16 Americas Championship in Mexico next week. Seven Ontario athletes will represent Canada, plus two members of the coaching staff.
The FIBA U16 Americas Championship 2021 will be held August 23 to 29 in León, Guanajuato, Mexico.

Team Canada U16 Women will be coached by Cheryl Jean-Paul (Trinity Western University), with assistants Nate McKibbon (Western University) and Fabienne Blizzard (Ottawa BlackJacks / Capital Courts Academy).
Canada will compete in Group A with Brazil, Costa Rica, and Puerto Rico.
