2019 OBA Coach of the Year: presented by Spalding Training Aids

The province of Ontario has such a deep pool of talented coaches that impact our basketball players on and off the court, and as the 2018-19 season winds down it’s time to celebrate them.

From early morning training sessions, to post-game rallying speeches, it’s the coaches who truly believe in the potential of their athletes who make a difference in their lives.

That’s why we’ve partnered with Spalding Training Aids to recognize coaches across the OBA!

 

Who: One female and one male coach will be selected

 

What: Submit a 200-word summary detailing with specific examples why a coach you know deserves recognition. Criteria include showcasing commitment, passion for development, quality of relationships built, and innovation.

 

When: June 3 – FINAL day for submissions.

June 7 – Winners will be announced on the OBA website.

 

Prize: Both winners will receive a trainer’s kit of Spalding Training Aids valued at over $300 MSRP

Note* In order to qualify for the Coach of the Year award the successful candidate must have the proper NCCP certifications for the age group they coach within
