2018 OBA Trainer of the Year: presented by Spalding Training Aids

The province of Ontario has such a deep pool of talented coaches that impact our basketball players on and off the court, and it’s time to celebrate them.

From early morning training sessions, to post-game rallying speeches, it’s the coaches who truly believe in the potential of their athletes who make a difference in their lives.

That’s why we’ve partnered with Spalding Training Aids to bring back this award to recognize coaches across the OBA!

 

Who: One female and one male coach will be selected

 

What: Submit a 200-word summary detailing with specific examples why a coach you know deserves recognition. Criteria include showcasing commitment, passion for development, quality of relationships built, and innovation.

 

When: May 18^th – FINAL day for submissions.

May 25^th – Winners will be announced on the OBA website.

June 2^nd – Presentation at OBL All-Star Game by OBA and Spalding

 

Prize: Both winners will receive a trainer’s kit of Spalding Training Aids valued at over $300 MSRP
