Know Your U10-11 Girls Championship Host!

It’s almost that time of the year! With the OBA Championship 2022 season set to kick-off, there are many regions around Ontario that have graciously agreed to host the Ontario Cup in their area. In this series, we will highlight details about the community and the many things to do there during your stay in the region.

Halton Region

Serving the City of Burlington, Town of Halton Hills, Town of Milton, and Town of Oakville, Halton Region will be hosting the U10 and U11 Girls Ontario Cup. This year, their local basketball club Oakville Vytis will be celebrating their 25^th anniversary and the region is excited to host an Ontario Cup as part of their celebration and looking back on their past 25 years.

This will be the first time Halton Region has hosted an Ontario Cup but they have had plenty of experience hosting various tournaments and sporting competitions such as the Canadian Open Championships.

The Town of Oakville will be the primary location for hosting the U10 Girls Ontario Cup where Appleby College and St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Secondary School are the gymnasiums where the tournaments are held.

The Town of Oakville has plenty of attractions for tourists to visit. While staying in the Halton Region, visitors can check-out popular attractions such as:

• Oakville’s Old Post Office
