Suggested Competition Levels for Registration per Age Group

The tables below outline a general overview of the suggested competition levels correlating to the Ontario Cup result. When registering and selecting a tier, feel free to use this as a guide if needed.

OBL Registration Deadlines

Friday, September 26th, 2025 U9 – U12 Girls & U9 – U12 Boys Registration and Payment Deadline
Friday, October 3rd, 2025 U13 – U14 Girls & U13-U14 Boys Registration and Payment Deadline
Friday, October 31st, 2025 U15 – U19 Girls/Women Registration and Payment Deadline
Friday, January 30th, 2026 U15 – U16 Boys Registration and Payment Deadline

Late Fee

Once the relevant OBL registration deadline has passed, the registration package on Ramp will close. After this time, teams can apply for a late registration and must pay the OBA team fee via Ramp before applying for a late registration.  

There is no guarantee that teams will be granted a late registration when they apply. Should a team be granted a late registration, they must pay the registration fee plus an additional $150. OBA will reach out to the email listed in the application with instructions on how to complete the late registration.  

Refunds

If a team registers for the OBL and withdraws within 14 days after the registration-OPENING date, they will receive a refund of the registration fee, minus $100. Teams that withdraw 15 or more days after the registration-OPENING date will not receive a refund.  

If a game is cancelled because of a team’s withdrawal and cannot be rescheduled, the team that is prepared to play will receive a refund equal to the OBL registration fee divided by the number of games they are scheduled to play during the season.  

If an OBL game is cancelled due to poor weather, an act of God (e.g., natural disasters, public safety emergencies), or other dangerous conditions, each affected team will receive a refund equal to the OBL registration fee divided by the number of games they are scheduled to play during the season, minus $60. 

If a team is removed because of compliance issues, they will NOT receive a refund.
