  • Chris Critelli is a native of St. Catharines and a graduate of Denis Morris High School.
  • Chris is currently in her 23rd year with the Brock University Badgers and has led the team to the league playoffs in 20 out of these 23 years.
  • 1974-75: Attended University of Winnipeg.
  • 1976-78: Attended Laurentian University.
  • 1978-80: Attended Old Dominion University.
  • Chris Critelli is the only individual to win both an NCAA and CIAU title, winning two CIAU titles with Laurentian and two NCAA titles with Old Dominion.
  • Chris is a three-time All-Canadian and a one-time Academic All-American.
  • Chris Critelli was a member of Canada’s National team for seven years after making the team at the age of 17.
  • 1976 & 1980: Chris was a member of the Canadian National team at the Olympic Games in Montreal and Moscow respectively.
  • Other accomplishments include: 1979 Pan American Games Bronze medalist, 1979 World Championships (three way tie for first place), 1979 FISU Games Bronze medalist.
  • 1980: Graduated with a B.Sc. and B.Ed. from Old Dominion University.
  • Chris is a former member of Chicago Hustle (professional) basketball team.
  • 1985: Coached the Ontario Provincial Team to a Gold Medal at the National Championships.
  • 1986-88: Assistant Coach of Canada’s Junior National Team.
  • 1989-94: Assistant Coach of Canada’s National Team.
  • 1996-98: Coached in the Juvenile Development Program for OBA.
  • 1998: Inducted into the Canadian Basketball Hall of Fame.
  • 1998: Chris led her JDP team to the title of Provincial Champions.
  • 1999: Inducted into the St. Catharines Hall of Fame.
  • 2000: Chris served as a guest coach with the Detroit Shock.
