Joseph Moutoussidis joins Ontario Basketball as Director, Business Operations & Finance
OBA is pleased to welcome Joseph Moutoussidis in the role of Director, Business Operations & Finance.
In this position, Joseph will be a key member of the Senior Management Team, contributing financial leadership and strategic counsel in the development and enhancement of financial policies, procedures and internal controls in a manner that contributes to the development and execution of the organization’s strategic direction. In addition, he will manage the organization’s facilities, payroll and benefits plans, and compliance with legislative and accrediting bodies.
Joseph brings experience managing financial activities from a variety of other sectors to this new role. Welcome, Joseph!
What motivated you to apply for a job with Ontario Basketball?
I was attracted to the position’s diverse function as well as it’s strategic and operational elements.
What past work experience do you bring to the organization?
My work experience includes Senior Finance functions in diverse business sectors, predominately manufacturing and services. I had financial oversight in consumer packaging, rubber compounds and mining belt manufacturing, commercial printing, security services, exhibit booth design and manufacture.
Is there a specific thing you’re looking forward to at OBA?
Working with staff to learn the business and its key drivers and start supporting the operation.
