Position Summary
Our busy and growing customer-focused office needs a reliable, well-organized Administrator to handle day-to-day operations with a focus on efficiency and time management. The Senior Administrator will be responsible for managing all administrative aspects of Monarchs Basketball, developing and streamlining administrative procedures, resource/gym management, and interaction with club volunteers, coaches, and program directors. We’re looking for an energetic professional who doesn’t mind wearing multiple hats. This position will include advancement opportunities for the right candidate as well as full benefits.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage organizational procedures and systems for player registration, team and program operations, payroll, accounts payable, collections, and scheduling.
  • Supervision of seasonal office staff and task delegation.
  • Work with program directors and Monarchs head trainer on all elements of program design and launch.
  • Improve player retention rates through active and helpful communication with players, parents, coaches and volunteers.
  • Scan incoming e-mails and voicemails and prioritize responses by degree of importance.
  • Order supplies and equipment as required.

Experience Required

  • Proven experience in an office environment or in sports administration.
  • Familiarity with minor sports club operations and procedures.

Education & Skills Required

  • University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • A creative, flexible, positive mindset with an ability to suggest improvements.
  • Experience with scheduling, budgeting and payroll.
  • Advanced computer skills (QuickBooks experience a plus).
  • Exceptional interpersonal and team building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time-management skills and an ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  • Proven organizational, management, and sport administration skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours during program launch periods.
