Athlete Institute is hiring a Director of Camps and Clinics to facilitate all aspects of the Camps and Clinics department. The Director of Camps and Clinics is responsible for establishing and implementing programming, administration and marketing plans designed to capitalize on market opportunities and demand. The successful candidate will have a background in recreational programming and marketing, will be self-motivated, resourceful, and have impeccable communication and leadership skills.

Role & Responsibilities
The Director of Camps and Clinics provides the management, marketing and administration to meet the needs of the business. The employee is required to perform the following duties and undertake the following responsibilities in a professional manner:

  • Develop and implement high-quality programming
  • Promote programs (school visits, social media, flyers, etc.)
  • Monitor and manage the programs expenditures and budget
  • Design and implement marketing strategies to create awareness of the company’s programs and offerings
  • Produce ideas for promotional events/activities and organize them efficiently
  • Coordinate and execute appearances/meetings with schools
  • Cultivate existing relationships and build new ones within the community
  • Ensure the daily operation of programs
  • Manage program staff, including recruitment, hiring, training, guidance and supervision
  • Manage all aspects of the registration and payment process, ensuring all paperwork is properly completed, entered and stored
  • Complete contracts, invoices and collect payment for groups
  • Purchase and keep inventory of supplies, equipment and merchandise

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in a related field
  • Marketing/sales experience
  • A keen interest in program development
  • Proven ability to be part of a team, to be responsive, take initiative, and meet sales goals and deadlines
  • Advanced computer skills
