04/25/2012 BELORE NAMED COORDINATOR, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT Ontario Basketball (OBA) pleased to announce that Melanie Belore has accepted an offer to join OBA in a full-time capacity as Coordinator, Community Development. Melanie received a Masters of Science degree, specializing in Sport and Community, from the University of Toronto. She completed an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Health Science at the University of Waterloo, where she was co-captain of the Warriors basketball team. Melanie additionally brings fundraising and grant-writing experience to Ontario Basketball. Melanie previously served as a Mega Hoops clinician with Ontario Basketball and is head coach of the senior girl’s basketball team at Runnymede Collegiate in Toronto. Melanie’s first day in the office will be May 1, 2012. His last day in the office is April 27, however he will remain on assignment for the U16 Girls Ontario Cup event in Kitchener-Waterloo this weekend. Ryan has been with OBA for six years - one year as a volunteer, one year as an intern and nearly four years as full-time staff. We thank Ryan for his service to OBA.
